Heavensgate Share Frenzied New Single ‘Rain’

Melbourne metal outfit HEAVENSGATE have unveiled their frenzied new single, “RAIN”, out now via Greyscale Records and Pure Noise Records.

“RAIN” is a poignant shift for the band, and tackles the emotional haunting after the significant event of loss, underscoring the band's ability to translate the human experience in a relatable and cathartic way. “While this is a personal story told by us, the symptoms of emotional isolation and helplessness are symptoms of grief we all share,” shares the band.

Entirely self-produced, “RAIN” was shaped to preserve the band’s creative intent. “Every element of this track, from the lyrics to the instrumentation, was crafted to reflect a deeply personal vision, making the final result an uncompromised and authentic expression of our sound."

Arriving off the back of a few milestone months including supporting The Amity Affliction, Ice Nine Kills (US) and We Came As Romans (US) in arena's across Australia last December, their signing to Pure Noise Records in February, their first ever North American Tour supporting Thrown (SWE) throughout February and March, and a national tour with Chelsea Grin (US) and Currents (US) in May, HEAVENSGATE are brimming with energy, determination and creative vision. “RAIN” follows the band’s previous single “OBLIVION”, a brutal track that turned the page on 2024 for the quartet.

This September and October, HEAVENSGATE will bring their visceral live show to UK and European stages for the very first time, supporting We Came As Romans (US) and Brand of Sacrifice (CAN) on the upcoming Bad Luck Tour, marking yet another pivotal step for the band as they continue to expand their global reach.

At the tail end of 2022, HEAVENSGATE released a couple of singles that breathed new life into the alternative music community. CHEMICAL HEAVEN began the journey and was their visceral debut single and grand entrance. Four tracks later and HEAVENSGATE had their debut EP 'AND ALL I LOVED, I LOVED ALONE', boasting co-writing and production credits from studio member and label-mate, Joshua Ang (Pincer+) as well as drum production from metal mastermind Erik Bickerstaffe (Loathe) and mix and mastering by Buster Odeholm of Odeholm Audio (Thrown, Humanity's Last Breath, Vildhjarta). Their debut EP solidified HEAVENSGATE as one of the most exciting bands in modern metal.

HEAVENSGATE played their first ever show in 2023, which doubled up as their first ever headline set, which completely sold out. Since then, the quintet have toured Australia with The Amity Affliction, The Gloom In The Corner and PROMPTS (JPN) and played shows with While She Sleeps (UK), Currents (US), Invent Animate (US), August Burns Red (US) and more.

New single "RAIN" is out now and streaming everywhere via Greyscale Records and Pure Noise Records.
