Brisbane metal outfit DIESECT have unleashed their new EP 'HIDE FROM THE LIGHT', out now and streaming everywhere via Greyscale Records. DIESECT will launch their new EP live on their HIDE FROM THE LIGHT Australian Tour this August supported by Graphic Nature (UK), tickets on sale now.

'HIDE FROM THE LIGHT', is an aggressive evolution of the bands established sound. The EP is the band's third, and their first with Greyscale Records. The EP thematically tells the story of an individual gradually losing faith or hope in being able to heal, until the desire to try passes and they are wilfully consumed by the negative. "This story is told chronologically through each song on the project, with the opening and closing tracks intended to serve as mirrors of each other to convey the final message of the story; if you choose to hide from the light, you in turn will suffer in the dark," tells the band.

DIESECT shared a snippet of their new collection around Australia earlier this year on a mammoth Australian tour supporting Thrown (SWE) with Half Me (DE) on the entirely sold out Excessive Guilt Tour. They'll join Make Them Suffer and Justice For The Damned across regional Queensland in June, and will set off on the HIDE FROM THE LIGHT Australian Tour in August, visiting Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Ballarat, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane with support from Graphic Nature, Darkmatter and No Life (NZ).
