Melbourne-based metalcore outfit ATLVS re-emerge with their long-anticipated new single "Soulsucker", a searing outpouring of betrayal, emotional abuse, and personal reckoning.
"Soulsucker" is ATLVS' visceral return, produced, mixed, and mastered by Chris Lalic(Windwaker, RinRin, The Last Martyr), and dives headfirst into the psychological wreckage left behind by someone toxic. The track paints a brutal lyrical portrait of emotional vampirism and manipulation, leading towards a final awakening and reclaiming of power. Accompanying the track is a music video by Steller Media, visually amplifying the song’s dark core. Watch it here.
ATLVS is Nathan Coff (vocalist), Nick Clavarino (drummer), Nick Fitzgerald (guitarist) and Steve Ljiljak (guitarist). Since the bands inception in 2017, ATLVS have built a loyal following touring Australia many times over and winning the hearts of metal fans across the country. Their very first hometown headline show completely sold out before they unleashed their debut EP, The Wound, The Blade in 2022. The EP cemented ATLVS as a rising force in Australia’s metalcore scene, amassing over 2.5 million Spotify streams to date.
Their 2023 follow-up EP, Shadow Dancer, deepened their sound and received widespread acclaim, landing placement on multiple Spotify editorial playlists and airplay on triple j, Unearthed and community radio stations nationwide. Their defining single"Comethazine" sparked traction online, earning features from major YouTube tastemakers Nik Nocturnal and Hardcore Keem, and praise from genre icons including Garrett Russell (Silent Planet), Joshua Travis (Emmure/Glass Cloud), and David Simonich (Signs of the Swarm).
Since this, ATLVS have gone on to play alongside acts including Miss May I (US), Bury Tomorrow (UK), We Came As Romans (US), Kingdom of Giants (US), Ocean Sleeper, Gravemind and many more. Along the way they've become champions for the next generation of Aussie metal, bringing new and upcoming acts like DIESECT, Darkmatter, Alienist, and Vilify on some of their first national tours.
ATLVS have maintained momentum despite a brief release hiatus since 2023, with a dedicated global fanbase and strong streaming presence across North America, Europe, and Asia. "Soulsucker" marks a welcome return to the spotlight and a taste of what’s to come as the band craft their next chapter. The quartet are poised to deliver their most ambitious material yet, armed with experience, momentum, and a sharpened sonic identity.
"Soulsucker" is available now, and streaming everywhere.
